Website Creation Process

Information Collection

After a couple of emails and an initial meeting we hope to have gathered the following information from you:

  • A basic understanding of your company and how you work.
  • An idea of what kind of design you would like – determined from what your company does, links to a couple of websites that you like and some images and texts.
  • How often the website will be updated and by whom.
  • The scope of the website – 10 pages, 100 pages, 1000 pages.
  • The main target group of your website

If you already have a website we will also collect information about the domain and your current web host.

Design Proposal & Content Management System

From the above information we will create one or two one-page design proposals but more importantly create a Content Management System adjusted to your website for you to add information to your website. If you sell cars we will add a section where you can add cars with the information you work with (price, image, registration number, etc). The important thing is that your website does not have to be adjusted to fit a CMS – we adjust the CMS to your website.

Final Steps

When you are satisfied with the design we will continue with designing the different pages (initially we only create the homepage), add effects. Based on the location of your main target group – and its Internet connection speeds we will also adjust the size of images, effects usage and caching.

Most importantly though – we assist you when you are adding information to your website. This way we learn how you work more in detail and can adjust the way you enter information to suit you. You will also learn the CMS and be completely prepared to continue the work with the content of your website when our work is done.

During this process we will also make sure that the information you enter is optimized for search engines.
