The Spark of Awakening is a rare reagent which serves as a time gate toSeason 4 combat crafting gear in Dragonflight. You can get themby doing the open world weekly quest given by Therazal at the center of Valdrakken.

By default, items created with the Spark can go up to 502 item level, but youcan add the optional reagents Enchanted Wyrm's Awakened Crest or Enchanted Aspect's Awakened Crest, crafted with Enchanting, inorder to make them go up to 515 or 525 item level at maximum quality!

There is also Enchanted Whelpling's Awakened Crest, which can be used onbasic gear crafts such as Band of New Beginnings without a spark in orderto get the gear to up to 486 item level.

Spark of Dreams, while rare, are easy to obtain. You will be able to createone right away in the first week from the starter quests and can obtain one Splintered Spark of Dreams every week from there on, allowing you to havea new spark ready for crafting every other week!

The Spark of Ingenuity is a rare reagent that enabled players tocraft Season 1 combat crafting gear in Dragonflight withitem levels up to 421 for maximum quality Concentrated Primal Infusioninfused items. While this gear is old now, it can still serve as a catch-upor, more importantly, as a way to get skill points for your own professions byenabling orange skill 50 to 100 gear crafts.

Spark of Shadowflame are rare reagents that enabled players tocraft Season 2 combat crafting gear in Dragonflight withitem levels up to 447 for maximum quality Enchanted Aspect's Shadowflame Crestinfused items. While this gear is old now, it can still serve as a catch-up or,more importantly, as a way to get skill points for your own professions by enablingorange skill 50 to 100 gear crafts.

The Spark of Dreams was a rare reagent which served as a time gate toSeason 3 combat crafting gear in Dragonflight with item levelsup to 463 item level by default and 476 or 486 item level with an Enchanted Wyrm's Dreaming Crestor Enchanted Aspect's Dreaming Crest. While this gear is old now, it canstill serve as a catch-up or, more importantly, as a way to get skill points foryour own professions by enabling orange skill 50 to 100 gear crafts.

Artisan's Mettle is a rare reagent used for Recrafting andfor high-end profession crafts, most notably in the profession best in slot gearcrafts, which require over 200 Mettle per craft!

If you are a crafter, you can get some for free from Thomas Bright inThe Artisan´s Market area of the capital of the Dragon Isles,in Valdrakken, after you complete the short introduction quest to craftingin Dragonflight.

This handout is repeatable once per week and will reward increasing amountsof Artisan's Mettle as your reputation with the Artisan's Consortiumincreases, up to 110 Mettle at rank 4 and 150 at the final rank 5.

The rest must be obtained from gaining profession knowledge points (5Mettle per point gained) and First Craft bonuses, which are awardedevery time you craft an item you have never crafted before. These will award avariable amount of Artisan's Mettle, going up to 10 depending on theitem's rarity and recipe difficulty.
