Account Executive (Sr. AE) for Chew On This - Job Description
Chew On This is a media company that works with some of the most authoritative thought leaders within the eCommerce and CPG industry.
It started off as a podcast and newsletter from Ronak Shah and Ashvin Melwani, The founders of Obvi (a 8-figure supplement brand), but quickly turned into a media hub that helps thought leaders share their expertise as well as monetizing it.
We’re growing rapidly, and are looking for a killer sales lead to sell our media assets to B2B SaaS companies that are looking to get exposed to DTC Founders and Operators
We have a rock-solid foundation to grow the company on the operational side, and we need to increase our sales throughput across all of our different media assets (newsletter, podcast, socials, etc)

- Connecting with the C-Suite and Marketing Leaders at the most innovative advertisers in the space.
- Pushing the next frontier of B2B Influencer advertising and educate Buyers on how to build their business.
- Scaling a rocketship to the next level of the atmosphere.

✅Responsibilities + Scope of Work
- Leverage existing network to qualify, advance, and close Chew on This Media and Service deals.
- Lead prospecting efforts to develop new leads and relationships via cold-calling, email campaigns, etc.
- Exceed revenue quotas by generating new business opportunities
- Drive accurate forecasts, pipelines, and weekly reports on new business opportunities
- Identify opportunities to improve Chew on This Media and service offerings via client feedback and communicate requirements to our internal team.
- Facilitate contract negotiations and fulfillment of client projects in partnership with internal legal, operational, and production resources.
👀The ideal candidate is someone who:
- 5+ years of enterprise sales experience with a specific focus on media software, or agency services
- Exceptional communication, planning, presentation, and meeting facilitation skills.
- Significant industry knowledge and sales network in one or more of these categories: Media Sales, B2B Marketing, Advertising Services, Podcast/Newsletter sales.
- Extensive relationships with marketing execs and other operational contacts that advertise to SMB/Mid-Market Ecom brands and agencies.
- Deep understanding of the marketing ecosystem and the interrelationships that exist between Ecom buyers, SaaS providers, agencies, and Influencers etc.
- Proven track record of success in selling Media and/or Advertising Services
- Documented success in establishing and maintaining net-new relationships with executive-level contacts and buyers.
- Capable of presenting solutions in the context of metrics commonly used by Founders/Marketers to measure the effectiveness of a campaign (e.g. customer acquisition cost, response rate, retention rate, etc.)
- Exceptional communication, planning, presentation, and meeting facilitation skills.
- Ability to work cross functionally with media productions, sales, marketing, and operations to maximize deal conversion and client satisfaction rates.
- Proficient in using CRM systems such as Hubspot or Salesforce
- Full professional proficiency in English
