I have no idea what job your brother has or anything but I just think that he at least should've informed you about his condition. You were worried as hell, and it was showing by the way you walked back and forth in the lounge looking at your phone.
You rarely meet your brother since the two of you are busy, and I'm pretty sure you also really want him to meet us now that we've been together for 3 years
Your feelings are valid, stop beating yourself up because of it.
